The Hut itself isn’t just for looks—it shields your hose from sun and weather, helping it last much longer than unprotected expandable hoses. The Hose Hut is designed specifically for its included custom 100' reinforced expandable hose and 316 stainless steel water supply hose. Its compact size and internal layout are tailored to store and protect this system, so traditional garden hoses may not fit or function properly.
No, the Hose Hut doesn’t have a built-in retraction system. Instead, the 100' expandable hose naturally shrinks back down to about 33' after use. It’s easy to place back into the Hut because it doesn’t kink, coil, or resist like traditional hoses. We intentionally avoided spring-loaded retractors, as they often fail over time—especially in outdoor environments—leaving you with a jammed or unusable hose. Fewer moving parts mean fewer things to break. Our focus was on simplicity, reliability, and long-term performance. Whether you're on a boat, at an RV site, tending a garden, or working a ranch, the Hose Hut is designed to stand up to the elements and deliver season after season.
